I'm glad that I found some Virgin Atlantic Airways coupon codes because it means that I and my officemates can avail of the best deals on a romantic vacation getaway we're planning to give as an anniversary gift to Archie, one of our colleagues.
Just two weeks ago, Archie asked me if he could swap schedules with me for this week as he was planning on surprising his wife Kirsten for their fifth anniversary. Being the romantic that I am and with the smell of romantic roses lingering in the air, I readily agreed. So we went ahead and worked out the plan of switching our work schedule. Since he had the Monday off and I had Saturday off, we would exchange rest days so that he could take a day off on Saturday and I could take mine on Monday.
It had no second thoughts about granting Archie's request. I have to admit that I'm quite fond of the guy and I'll always be willing to do him a favor. Our other officemates feel the same way because Archie is clearly the most charming and funniest of our colleagues. He has this way of making the dullest moments humorous. But he would also have a tender side to him as well, most especially when it comes to his wife. He would regale us with stories of what he would do for her to make their moments together romantic and out of the ordinary even before they were married.
At one of their out-of-town trips before their engagement, Archie had planned on San Francisco as being the place he would propose since both he and Kirsten had always wanted to go there. With months of careful planning, he was all set to embark on this journey.
Archie did all the preparations himself and had even arranged for their respective families to be flown in so that they would witness the event as well. He had decided that the best venue to pop the question was of course at one of San Francisco's most romantic venues, the Golden Gate Bridge.
Now that Archie and Kirsten are five years into their life as husband and wife, they have more romantic stories to share, and Archie shares them often, to the delight and admiration of our office friends. That's why the rest of us all agreed to chip in for an anniversary gift for Archie and Kirsten. We knew, from Archie's countless stories, that they both wanted to travel to London, so we decided to make this a dream come true for our favorite couple.
