I have a cousin who is the biggest prankster in our clan. His name is Arnold and he has victimized almost all of our relatives, including me. That's why we're always wary of people who text or call us regarding things we're not familiar of or about appointments that appear dubious. We've all learned our lesson the hard way, courtesy of Arnold.
Now 24 years old, Arnold has not outgrown his childish ways. He has been a prankster for as long as I can remember. I myself was victimized by Arnold a number of times even back when he was seven years old. He likes to make calls, modulate his voice, and pretend he's an agent from some sales company or a client who would like to set an appointment for a meeting.
But I and our other relatives who are used to being victimized by Arnold are now used to his pranks. Whenever he calls the house and introduces himself as someone else, I often detect him right away. Even though he has mastered the art of changing his voice, I somehow know that it's him. So now he has resorted to limiting his pranks (on me, at least) to text messages. But I still hear stories about his phone pranks from our other relatives who still find it hard to recognize his disguised voice over the phone.
Despite his constant phone hoaxes, we can't really stay annoyed at Arnold for long. That's just how Arnold is. He has a charming personality that endears him to us no matter how naughty he gets at times.
