I have a lot of making up to do for a friend of mine who I think is already getting mad at me because I kept missing all his invitations for the past year. I already feel bad because I kept promising him that I would try to make it next time, but every time that next time came, I still failed to show up and make good my promise.
I already missed the two birthday parties of his only son, who is also my godson, and I also wasn't able to attend the half dozen dinner and party invitations he sent me for the past months.
