I told my husband yesterday that my friends and I had a casual discussion about planning a trip during one of our get-togethers. Inspired by my officemate's romantic rendezvous, I suggested that San Francisco could be a perfect place to go for our much-needed getaway. And I'm happy to say that my husband agreed that I deserve a break from my frantic work schedule and that I should push through with my planned vacation with friends.
Clearly excited over my upcoming vacation, I already did some adjustment on my schedule for the next couple of weeks to accommodate my travel treat. I advised my friends to do same so all our schedules would yield the same free time for our San Francisco trip. I also looked for some available promo deals that can help us save money on the things we need to buy for our trip.
I found some Rand McNally coupon codes which are perfect for my plan to buy a GPS device to guide us through our vacation. The Rand McNally coupons offer the biggest discounts on a wide selection of trusted travel tools that help people discover and navigate the world.
I already drafted the itinerary of our San Francisco vacation to further entice my friends to free up a couple of days on their calendar for the trip. I told them about the California Academy of Sciences, which is deemed as "the only place in the world with an aquarium, a planetarium and a natural history museum all under one roof." Since the California Academy of Sciences is right in Golden Gate Park, we could take a San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge Bay Cruise Adventure afterwards and enjoy a fully narrated one-hour cruise along the city's waterfront, past scenic spots like Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, and around Alcatraz Island.
Of course, what's a vacation without some shopping, and make that diamond shopping at Simayof in Union Square. My friends will surely agree that this is something to look forward to. Even if we don't buy anything, just seeing those majestic diamonds in all their glittering beauty will surely be worth the trip.
We can also have a taste of San Francisco's eclectic arts and culture scene at the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, which features some of Shakespeare's known works, such as The Comedy of Errors and Romeo & Juliet. Of course, we must stop also at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Alamo Square, Fisherman's Wharf, and Lyon Street Steps.
I'm confident with the itinerary I made because I'm sure we can find all the establishments and locations using the new GPS device that I will be buying using the Rand McNally promo codes I found. Almost everything is in place and I'm all set to go on this exciting vacation, and I know my friends are as excited as I am as well.
