It never ceases to amaze me how some people go through all the trouble of buying new clothes and getting themselves all made up for a date. Of course, I also went through that phase of feeling all giddy and nervous especially when my date was someone I really liked, but I don't' remember ever going all-out in making myself look good.
Sure, I did make myself more presentable and attractive than usual during those times that I dated, but the only way I did so was by adding a few colors here and there, ensuring that my hair didn't look unruly, and wearing clothes that I knew looked good on me. But I don't remember really going gaga and buying all kinds of apparel, shoes, bags, jewelry and perfume in the hopes of impressing a date.
I am more of the type of person who would come as I am and be comfortable. As much as I can, I try to show my date who I really am and if in case my date doesn't like what he sees, then it's just for the best. I see no use in projecting someone I'm not just to impress a date because it would be too tedious on my part to keep up with the cover, and it's also unfair to make the other person like me for someone I'm really not. I rather prefer to be appreciated for who and what I really am and be seen for the real beauty that my personality exudes.
Anyway, I'm talking about this because a friend of mine is getting all panicky with her upcoming date. Everything I said about people going through so much trouble to look good on a date is actually a direct reference to this friend. She's been calling me almost five times a day for the past week to repeatedly tell me how nervous she feels about her date and how she thinks she has so many things to buy, so much to do and so little time left for all the preparations she needs.
I swear, if she weren't a good friend, I would really be annoyed with her incessant rants and fidgeting for a single date. I keep telling her to just be herself and let her date appreciate the real her, but she wouldn't go with my explanation. She wants to buy the most fashionable attire and all the jewelry and accessories that will give her the completely made-up look, but she says she just has one tiny bit of a problem: she has no money.
So what is a good friend like me (who happens to be just as broke) to do in such a trying situation? No, I don't bonk her on the head and tell her off for wanting to go shopping without any money. Much as I hate it, I give in to her caprice and advise her to avail of K. Jordan promo codes, which will allow her to buy clothes and jewelry now and pay for her purchases later.
The K. Jordan coupon codes give access to the K. Jordan credit, which really offers the best deals in a wide assortment of products that can easily be availed of on credit in a few easy steps. I know my friend will be delighted with what K. Jordan coupons have to offer. It's actually good news for anyone who is in a problematic situation of having no money at hand to buy new clothes and jewelry. Much as I don't want to support the practice of going through so much trouble for a date, I do admit that a K. Jordan promo code truly comes in handy in such emergency situations.
