What I found even more frustrating was that her shopping for her gift for my uncle never took any longer than 10 minutes. She's already familiar with his shirt size and knew that he's not to picky with his clothes, so she usually took the first shirt that she could find that fit his size. How unromantic and impersonal could one get?
Naturally, I started giving her other gift suggestions to surprise my uncle for their upcoming anniversary. At first, she was reluctant to veer away from her routine gift because "it's too time consuming."
