I did it! In less than two weeks, I managed to clear three year's worth off clutter up off the floor and out of the nooks and crannies of my apartment. All it took was a little determination, some elbow grease, and my Get Organized coupons. It was, in fact, so easy that I wondered why I'd put off for so long in the first place.
I'd been meaning to get my place fixed up for a long time. However, as I lived alone and worked two jobs to pay off my student loans, it never seemed like a priority. Slowly, my stuff began to take over my apartment. I began finding socks in strange places, which is just as well, because I stopped being able to find my keys when I needed them, or my good coat.
Finally, when I discovered that I had been piling unused ketchup packets in a heap behind the toaster, I decided it was time for a home makeover.
But the problem was, I didn't have a lot of containers and other organizing tools, and I didn't want to go and buy all the fancy things I was seeing in home décor magazines. My budget was not as large as that, after all. To make matters worse, my mother was coming up for a visit in two weeks, and I didn't want her to see what a dump I lived in.
So I went on the net in search of creative solutions to my clutter problem. A helpful friend told me that a lot of online stores offered promotional codes and various other discounts. She herself had made use of Get Organized coupon codes and other Get Organized promotion codes, and had found them to be very helpful in stretching her budget. She also pointed out that if I used them too, I could save a lot on much-needed storage containers.
Eventually, I found just what I needed with . The store carried very stylish and functional storage systems that really worked for my space. I made use of the coupons and bought what I needed, barely going over budget and ending up with a lot more stuff than I had thought I could afford.
Once I had all the containers, I set to work sorting though my things - some went to charity, some straight to the trash, and the rest went into the neat storage bins, which went to their appropriate homes throughout my space.
Finally, after two weeks, my space has been transformed. The former jungle of a closet is now chic and savvy with wire shelf separators and clear containers that let me see where everything is at a glance. My kitchen condiments aren't in piles around the appliances and I can walk across the bedroom without tripping over my laundry. Even my trash is organized with cool, color-coded recycling bags.
In just under two weeks, I have an apartment I can proudly show off to my mom, with a place for everything and everything in its place.
