I can say that I'm on cloud nine now. The renovations to our living room were finally completed today, and I suddenly had the urge to invite friends over to show them how my cosmopolitan theme gave my home a new classy look. But I had to stop myself. I figured it would be better if I planned it well, or even hosted a dinner at home so that my friends can better appreciate our place while they enjoyed their stay at the same time.
It's just that I found myself reeling in happiness upon looking at my new living room and I felt like giving myself a good pat on the back for a job well done. Although I didn't hammer a single nail in or lift any brush for the paintwork, I felt compelled to take credit for the final work. After all, the living room was conceived from my own design. It stands perfectly as I imagined it, with every glass wall and new piece of furniture exactly where I pictured it to be.
As I stood back to appreciate my new living room, I imagined a number of my friends in there, and I could almost see myself showing them the design sketches of my first crack at interior designing. Yes, this is my first time to actually try to design a home interior. This explains the overwhelming feeling of accomplishment I have in actually seeing my design come to life.
So I think the best way to showcase my masterpiece of a living room to my friends is to host a dinner at home. Call me a cheapskate, but I've decided to make it a potluck dinner. I just don't think it's wise to spend for the whole dinner with all the bills that have to be paid and all other expenses incurred from the renovation. Besides, I've attended several potluck dinners before and I never heard anyone call the host a cheapskate.
A potluck dinner is a great way for friends to showcase their delectable dishes and flaunt their new recipes. I have a couple of friends who are big fans of Food Network and they're always talking about the new recipes they are dying to try out. As for me, I'm not much into cooking though I'm a real food enthusiast. I've decided to buy the food I'm going to serve my friends.
Of course, I don't want them to feel that I just ordered out some fast food for them, so I'm really bent on serving them something they'll really enjoy even if I ordered it elsewhere and didn't make it myself.
I found some Foods Across America promo codes that really caught my attention not just because of the best deals they offered on a wide variety of food choices but also for the so-called culinary road trip that can be enjoyed in the comforts of one's home. The Foods Across America coupon codes give discounted access to hard-to-find foods from different regions in the country, and it's also very easy to shop by food type.
I'm sure my friends will enjoy the variety of foods I'll be serving them for our potluck dinner. By using Foods Across America coupons, I can give my friends a taste of different foods from all parts of the country without worrying about ruining my budget. I not only get to satisfy my friends with my contribution to our potluck dinner, I also get to show them my newly renovated living room, the design of which I'll be very happy to discuss with them all throughout dinner.
