There something more for our family to look forward to in the coming month because my sister and her whole family will be coming over to spend the holidays with us. Only my husband and I know about this delightful news for now and we plan to keep it a big secret from the kids to surprise them. We know they will be ecstatic when they find out that they will get to spend an entire month with their cousins, so we've decided to spring the big surprise on them to make it more memorable.
The memory of our children's bonding with my sister's kids is still fresh because it was only last year when our family spent a week-long vacation at my sister's house in Florida. It was the kids' first time to travel by airplane and they couldn't stop marveling about the flight for days. For our first day of stay at my sister's house, it was all we heard the kids talk about. I think that it's part and parcel of what will make their vacation here very exciting and memorable. I have to start planning the things that we would do and the places we would go to. My sister and I partly discussed the itinerary of their stay here but we really haven't completed the list of the places we would visit. She's leaving the touring part to me because, as she said, I'm more familiar with my territory and I could better recommend the best places to go.
