It had been years since I played around with Corel software, but when I discovered a couple of Corel Corporation coupon codes a year ago, I gave into the urge to splurge and bought one of their software packages. I wanted to see how much the programs had changed. What had initially started as an afternoon of wandering around the Internet looking for websites for coupon codes turned out to be the beginning of rediscovering a passion for digital art and digital layouts.
The software's a little more complicated that what I was used to, but even so, I could make basic newsletters by the end of the evening. To my credit, my eye for balance seems to have improved over the years, and the ones I had made were better at the amateur level than what I had done years ago when I thought that I had been good at what I was doing.
But then again, the software was leagues away from what I had been using when I was younger. There were more options for editing, as well as finer controls on almost every aspect. It didn't have too much of a learning curve, either. The basic publishing tools were there, and all one needed was familiarity and practice. Having enjoyed my time doing that, I urged my husband to try it out himself. I was impressed with the results - he'd had more experience with digital design, though, so I had to concede that he had a definite advantage over me in that area.
One good turn deserves another, and so I decided that I wanted to share my new dd with someone else. I sent some Corel Corporation coupon codes to my friend in another state. I knew that her eldest daughter had an interest in digital publishing, and her parents have urged her to explore this option. Soon my friend had emailed back, saying that they had bought several different programs from Corel using the Corel Corporation promotional codes that I had sent and that their daughter had loved trying them out.
I thought that that was that and had forgotten about it until a couple of days ago when she emailed again to tell me that her daughter, who was a communications major, had enjoyed fiddling with the programs so much that she had signed up for a couple of digital art lessons and was thinking of taking related classes this coming term. Apparently she'd been able to tap into creative talent she didn't even know she had, and loved it. Her newly awakened passion had led her to discover inner designer, and her parents thought that this was a talent that would truly complement her university course.
I'm glad the Corel Corporation coupons I sent her helped. But now I'm the only noob in the group. So tonight I'm spending more time with My Corel programs, catching up.
