I have recently discovered that there are also online coupons that encourage people's creativity, such as CafePress Affiliate Program coupons.
My friend Leslie is particularly artistic, and recently she had branched out to making t-shirt designs digitally and making her own prints. She sent me an email the other day, along with an invitation to visit, that had pictures of shirts that she had designed. Most of the designs incorporated the pink ribbon, a symbol of her dedication to further the cause of the women who have been affected by breast cancer. I was visiting with her the other day, and I she told me how her designs helped raise funds which she then donated to support groups for the same cause.
I asked her where she sold these t-shirts, since I never saw them on her regular web-based store. Leslie smiled and asked me if I'd like to see the designs she had made and where she sold them, an offer I gladly took her up on. While booting up her computer, she told me about a smaller online enterprise that she had, selling t-shirts as a CafePress Affiliate.
It occurred to me that membership fees to such a large and apparently popular site would be through the roof, or that the shipping costs would be unreasonably high. But Leslie tut-tutted at my concerns. Turns out that my coupon-hunting ways had rubbed off on her, and she had discovered CafePress Affiliate Program coupons, which offered several different benefits, from shipping discounts to direct discounts on products, which enticed more customers to purchase from the site.
As we looked thought the site's selections, I noticed that there were lots of other shirts which, like Leslie's, supported other causes, such as the green movement, HIV awareness, and autism awareness. I browsed through Leslie's design selections, noticing that shirts weren't the only items offered for sale on the Cafepress web site. Oh, there were shirts galore, alright, most of them with prints ranging from the dead serious to the humorous to the slightly kooky. But there were also custom made mugs, hoodies, bumper stickers, sweatshirts, calendars, caps, clocks, notepads, water bottles, aprons, framed prints, keepsake boxes, coasters, and postcards.
As great a place as it was for finding knick-knacks and collectibles for oneself, the CafePress site was an even better place to find giftable items, especially if your intended recipient had a favorite cause, book, fictional character, or even just a sense of humor. There was something for everyone - men and women of all persuasions, and even cute little shirts for babies and toddlers. I knew I was hooked on cool and quirky CafePress items even before Leslie brought in the coffee from the kitchen, and knew I'd be making use of CafePress Affiliate Program coupon codes soon enough. As she put the steaming mugs of coffee beside her laptop, I told her with a wink, "Well, then, I know where I'll be doing my holiday shopping this year."
