I really planned to have a new camera because my old camera broke last month. I wanted to have a new camera in time for the birth of Ellen's baby. I'm not sure if the rest of my friends felt it, too, but it's something that made me feel bonded to the child somehow.
I got so trigger-happy with my digital camera I must've taken over a hundred pictures of the baby from different angles and a hundred more pictures of him held by his parents and our group of friends. From the moment I saw the baby, I was overcome by the urge to capture his every move on my camera. My friends were already teasing me about it, but I didn't mind.
As I said, I have this inexplicable attachment with the baby. Maybe it's some sort of gratitude for bringing me and my friends closer again. And because of that, I feel obliged to capture as much of his cute moments as I can. I really feel that all his precious moments need to be captured on camera if possible.
