My daughter had a slumber party with her school friends in our home last week, and I find it delightful that they're all still raving about it up to now. It's the first slumber party that the girls have ever had, so it's really one memorable and exciting experience for all of them.
It was my daughter who brought up the topic two weeks ago. Actually, she was asking permission to sleep over at the house of one of her girl friends. But I was not at ease with the idea of having her sleeping in another house, so I suggested that we held a slumber party for her friends at home.
