I've been bitten by the Harry Potter bug once again, and I so willingly allowed myself to be lost and indulge in an all too familiar reading addiction which costs me hours, and even days, of hardly stoppable reading. I have already read the entire series, all seven books of the Harry Potter saga, and I gladly moved on to other books and almost completely got my mind out of the magical world of Hogwarts and all the wizards and witches of Harry Potter's colorful and enchanting story.
In fact, my next book addiction found me in a world of vampires and werewolves of Stephen Meyers' Twilight saga, a four-book series that I found almost as engaging as the Harry Potter series (though I must admit that nothing could beat the level of amusement and addiction I had for Harry Potter).
Anyway, I said that I'm back to my Harry Potter addiction because of the Harry Potter fever aroused by the release of the movie adaptation of the sixth book in the series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. In preparation for the movie's opening in cinemas worldwide, I opted to reread the book and refresh my memory on all the vital elements in the story. And this was the bug that bit me hard.
Even after I have finished watching the movie and finished rereading the sixth book, my thirst to recall and relive the captivating twists of Harry Potter's story could not be quelled that easily. Like a drug dependent craving for the next shot, I ached to reread all previous Harry Potter books as well. I started with the first book again, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and prepared myself to continue rereading the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. However, to my great dismay, I couldn't find my copy of the second book. Then I realized that my copy of the third, fourth and fifth book were missing as well! I tried to think back on where I kept (and probably misplaced) the books, but all I could remember was that a lot of my friends, relatives and officemates borrowed my Harry Potter books and I couldn't trace anymore who got which book.
So I have no choice but to buy the missing books to complete my Harry Potter collection.
