I've been a regular user of Bargainstation.com coupon codes for a couple of years now. I had a bad run-in with a computer virus that hacked into my computer and rendered the machine useless while destroying a large quantity of data stored in the hard drive.
I used a friend's computer to go online and gather coupon codes that I needed, and so I ended up with a good deal of back-up hardware (to prevent anything like this from wiping out my data ever again) and some good advice from a technician that worked on my computer - always have anti-viral software installed on your computer, even if you think it'll slow your computer down.
Apparently I wasn't the only one who thought that the constant checks that an anti-virus software runs on my system. A lot of people choose not to install them, and consequently run the risk of getting infections that not only slow down their systems, but make them crash as well.
Living a little slower might not be too bad a thing, I thought, and immediately went online to purchase my own anti-virus software using BargainStation.com coupon codes. The coupon let me reduce the impact the software had on my budget, and that meant my husband grumbled about it much less. He decided that if it would stop future incidences of a total wipeout from happening, he was happy with it.
Installing the application on my new computer was a breeze, and I didn't experience a significant slowing down of my system, except when it ran a full-scale scan on all the drives. I've gotten so paranoid that I scan everything daily, usually once I am finished for the day. All external drives get scanned weekly, and I can't begin to explain what a relief it is to be sure that there are no hidden threats lurking within my file folders.
Being better with taking care of my computer also means that I now update my protective software now - not every time it prompts me, though, I think that's a little excessive - but at least once every couple of months. A techie friend I made online said that the entire system will work just fine with minor upgrades, and that I shouldn't upgrade too often. He also said that if an upgrade costs more than a new program, it might be better to get the new program. Same goes for the machine itself.
My computer is now over two years old, and I've recently upgraded its video and sound cards. Again, my friend said that once upgrades get too expensive, it's time to replace the machine, and that I might want to think about replacing the machine in a year or so. Luckily, I have BargainStation.com promotional codes to help get the best deal possible.
